Arachnophobia is not just hating spiders. I get panic attacks from just looking at them (including hyperventilating, shaking etc.), nightmares for weeks when I just see a picture, constantly being paranoid when it's spider season. It sounds ridiculous, but it's not something you can turn off and I hate it, sometimes even thinking there could be a spider in my room, gets me crying and I avoid places where there could potentially be a lot of spiders, like my grandparents house, so it interferes with my day to day life a lot.
Yes, bitch, yes. I seriously closed my eyes as soon as I clicked on this thread to avoid any unwanted spider images. Then I slowly peeked through my fingers to see if the opening post was safe, and you can bet your right hand on it that I spotted that border of the embedded video. After that I read the text in the opening post before closing my eyes again in order to scroll down vigorously, to once again dodge any pictures or video thumbnails of this heathen of a species.
From the very moment I have entered this thread, my body has been itching constantly. I am cringing, shaking and looking around me in serious angst.
Yes. I literally had to kick a plant out of my house cause there was a spider in it (it was dead but it was big) and I was too terrified to touch the plant. Needles to say the plant and it's pot didn't survive
