The "10% of people are gay" stat is actually a myth. It's probably more in the ballpark of 2%-4%.
But yes, more or less. Gay couples are probably more likely to have children who
go on to identify as gay, but more so because the gay children are much less likely to be raised in households where they don't have to repress their sexuality.
