That's probably the most simplest way to structure it though the overarching plot with V.F.D and stuff doesn't really take off until 5/6 so there really isn't that much in the first 4 books and the ending to book 5, 7, 9 and 12 would make good season finales

These were my childhood. I remember sitting in my room all day and reading some of these in like 2 days. They were all so good. The Ersatz Elevator was always my favorite. I'm really excited for the new series. I hope it's good.

I was obsessed with them in 3rd grade, I read books 1-8 in like a month... I stopped reading them around book 10 which I regret
