Even tho the album didn't do big in sales due to the fact that everyone had most of the songs a year ago before it releases.

Release 2 #1 albums this year which were surprise releases

1 of them is Platinum with sales of 1,442,000 which is the highest selling rap album of the year.

and the other album which was a collaboration album that is almost Gold.

and got 1 top 10 hit

Definitely Daddy. Drake didn't make too many year end charts.

Drake because his achievements were more or less without him having to lift a finger. Fetty's success is purely due to the fact he's been trying to replicate Trap Queen over and over (with mixed results given their chart peaks).

I liked Fetty Wap's singles more, but Drake's albums were overall better.

Success wise, obviously Drake had a bigger year. Two huge album debuts, Energy and Jumpman were pretty big urban hits, and Hotline Bling is lowkey iconiC.
