Camila accidentally confirms Shawn as boyfriend

Then she explained when she would NEVER confirm a relationship, and our hearts/minds/souls immediately jumped to thoughts of Shawn:
"If there were to be tweets or pictures of us, it would be because I was with that person for a while and the relationship was really special and strong enough," she said they would have a "really special and strong" relationship?! Girl. Get ready for an official Shawn + Camila relationship announcement ASAP.
The reason they've held off on making a big public splash is because Camila prefers to stay private about her personal life.
"I've learned that I don't want to be as open or public about relationships anymore. In my first relationship, I thought I could hold on to the normalcy of just being like 'Yeah, we're dating,' just like if it were high school and I was telling my friends,'" she said, likely referring to that time she dated Austin Mahone. "But in high school, there aren't articles written everywhere when you break up and you don't have everyone in the school coming up to you and asking what happened or sharing their opinion with you. It didn't feel like ours anymore, it felt like everybody else's."
So, that explains it. If Camila really is dating Shawn, we hope she's had the time she's needed to savor the moment before they make a public statement.
