Last week, C2C sold about 12,000 additional copies according to Nielsen Soundscan, more than one year after its release, bringing its total to about
670,000 copies.
The album is expected to sell enough copies through the end of this year in order to reach
700,000 copies by next year.
So here is the question...
How did C2C, a jazz album full of covers, manage to sell just as much as albums such as My Everything and The Pinkprint (aka album from current IT girls) with fewer promo spots, no official singles sent to radio stations and no music video as opposed to Ariana and Nicki's intense promo schedule and countless singles and music videos?
Is it once again because of talent?
