Obamacare is not great. It's a disaster. It's causing a lot of health care costs nationwide to rise, despite claiming it would lower costs. A lot of people can't afford it and don't want it. Furthermore, they are being forced to either have it, or pay a yearly fine, one that doubled this year from last year. The irony is that the fine actually costs less than the coverage. Average people can't afford this mess. And it's not even good coverage. You have to be damn near deceased to reap any benefits. Co-ops have failed nationwide. It's unsustainable, it's imploding from within. And it's something democrats shoved down Americans' throats while they had both the US house and senate. Another thing. While some jobs have been created, they aren't fulltime jobs with benefits. Companies are only hiring part-time to avoid the government mandate to pay higher costs for insuring their employees. It's killed plenty of jobs too.
There's nothing wrong with having a good universal healthcare system. But it's a bit trickier trying to implement it in a nation of 320 million than it is in all of the Scandinavian countries where they say it's so fine and dandy. Literally no Scandinavian country has even 20 million. The numbers make a difference. The costs and up. And quite frankly, we don't feel like we should go out and work hard just for our income to be hit with high taxes to support slackers. Democrats love raising taxes, and they will creep up on people. But that welfare mess is what kills democracies.
Both parties are out of touch with the woes of a lot of Americans. I don't know why these Republicans currently in Congress are so afraid to challenge Obama's bad policies and remind him that here one man does not have all the power. But this is one reason why Donald Trump is doing well in the polls. He's forced people to seriously talk about issues that affect people. It doesn't even matter if mainstream media never highlights this stuff. People feel the burden and are tired of it. People feel like the career politicians don't care about them. They don't care about political correctness anymore when their ACTUAL lives have been so negatively affected by Obama's tenure. And I know some are doing fine, but many are doing worse.
Another thing about Trump, Carson and and Fiorina, it's a misconception that people have to have held office before trying to be president. An extensive political career doesn't mean it's a good career, and Hillary is a good example of a long yet less than impressive career, especially her tenure as security of state.
Don't believe me? Look at the polls. No matter how much people try to downplay are marginalize it as 'bigotry and ignorance', a lot of people out there are sick of politicians betraying them and shoving horrible policies on them.
