I think he produced on some, wrote some choruses and probably sung a couple too. It seems like they've worked on a lot and have had multiple sessions, and I doubt Juicy J of all rappers would pass up the opportunity of having a member of One Direction (arguably the most talented) on his record, because he knows people would buy it.
And there's no way Liam would say no. He wants to get his foot in the door of the urban music community as much as possible, and singing the hook on a rap song to begin with is perfect.
While I wouldn't mind some Dr. Luke beats, he better not be signing with Kemosabe for his solo deal.
