All i said was for a healthy, BALANCED, diet, 45% of your diet should consist of carbs. The Keto diet is channeling your body to use other nutrients from your diet as an energy source, like proteins etc, where proteins normally are stored to help repair muscles, not to be used as an energy source. This way means you loose weight faster, but it also means you lose muscle mass since the protein used to repair and rebuild the muscles is going elsewhere.
It depends on what you are doing. If you are a marathon runner, your eat a huge carby meal the night before, because it is an energy source.
Again; I never said "if you don't have carbs you will die" where the heck did you get that from?
