I always thought that amount of skyscrapers = epitome of civilization. When you look at skylines of American cities you have nothing but to be amazed at the sheer magnificance of the scenery that embodies futuristic development .
Rest of the world swiftly followed the lead of US and also had constructed several scryscrapers to look very modern.

But Europe architectures stuck in middle ages with it's village-esque cities. The only notable building in Europe being Eiffel Tower.
