Brittany Howard honored as a Powerhouse vocalist
Quote:
Brittany Howard's powerhouse vocals were on clear display during the BIllboard Women in Music event in New York City on Dec. 11.
Hoda Kotb from Today introduced the Alabama Shakes' frontwoman, who sang "Joe" and accepted the Powerhouse honor at the event.
Howard stunned the crowd with her emotional performance, backed by three singers and a guitar player.
"Well look at that," Howard said of the award. "I just want to say thank you for the honor."
Love her and the band
