Gaga is not an actress. What’s she doing as the vampy Countess on “AHS: Hotel” is a performance, all right, but it’s the kind of voguing you might see in one her music videos. Her dialogue delivery is stilted — and that’s putting it kindly.
Gaga’s nomination... reeks of .... publicists... If Lady Gaga wins, it will be a joke.

Gaga is plain and simple not an amazing actress. She's decent - but a golden globe nomination? Nope. They're not wrong at all either, it's like one long music video of hers but without the music.
And yes, I'm a fan and I have been since The Fame.
I stan for Gaga and have since 2008...but I agree. I'm grounded enough as a fan to be able to point out what I think she does well and what she doesn't. Her performance is definitely not worthy of a nomination.

Well this post didn't pop up until after I saw the first one. get your head out of her ass, gurl. She's not that amazing of an actor. She needs an acting coach, tbh.
I love Gaga but her acting really didn't deserve to be ranked between the best 5 of the season, even if not bad. I believe this is a move on the GG side to earn more attention and viewers for the next ceremony.
Too bad that won't change the fact that she is nominated and that the Golden Globes > NYpost and Ew
