Boo hoo Donald Trump is calling for Muslims to be barred from immigrating to the US your religion calls for execution / imprisonment for homosexuals, how do you feel about that? Why should I feel sorry for you?

I feel bad for them though. I live in Singapore where there are a lot of Muslims and I have lots of Muslim friends. All of them are nice and don't have extreme views regarding religion. I like them all and I think they don't deserve this judgement because of only certain followers who are too extreme.

They still choose to follow the religion that imposes the punishment though

I literally just saw an article on my timeline about an elementary school-aged girl from a muslim family getting attacked by a bunch other children that called her ISIS

Then aren't all gay Christians doing the same thing? The answer is no. As people we get to choose a religion if we want. Just because someone is homosexual it doesn't mean they will agree with everything little thing the religion says, but instead take away and honor the faith and good things that it teaches. I have lots of Christian friends that are religious, yet still accept gay people just like I do Muslims. People need to stop letting this fear win. With the internet, you'd think more people would try to learn

This is exactly how I felt. I surely questioned the religion but I personally chose to not let it just disrupt everything about the religion. It's peaceful and provides a sense of guidance.
