Unbowed, Trump fired a searing warning Tuesday via Twitter to fellow Republicans carping about his proposal. A majority of his supporters, he tweeted, ‘would vote for me if I departed the GOP & ran as an independent.’

To be fair, they were never going to achieve that, even if he wasn't in it. Just look at the rest of the candidates: Ben Carson, Ted Cruz, Marco Rubio... they will be always stuck in that same dumb, conservative lane.

If NJ governor Christie wins New Hampshire, the GOP establishment will get behind him like lemmings, and push him to the nomination...at this point he is the only one running that can unite the party. Christie has enough colloquialisms to pacify Trump supporters, and still attract moderate/independent voters with his policy experience.

Christie is the only one that can beat Hillary, and pacify Trump into not running 3rd party...Trump will get a prime time speaking selection at the convention, and Christie will praise him as an honorable, and great American. Christie is the only candidate with enough gravitas to pull it off at this point...the GOP would be fools not to nominate him.
