I remember a few years back, one of the contestants said that there was a stigma of being a model from a reality TV show and no-one would hire because because her 'fame' took away from the designers image- people were focusing on the model not the clothes.
Now it's trendy to be a reality TV show model so Tyra is saying that had her models started their career now, they probably would've had more success.
Also my cousin follows fashion and she said that one of the models from the show did the Givenchy show this year.

It's not just a stigma about reality TV, ANTM has its own stigma lol her show did nothing. It's was airing just this year, and 95% of those models will still go nowhere.
