In 1965, after a groundbreaking 5 consecutive #1 hits, The Supremes released their first and only holiday album, Merry Christmas.
But Florence Ballard (despite recording solos of "O' Holy Night" and "Silent Night") and bandmate Mary Wilson were not included on the original album. Only Diana Ross appears on the original 1965 release with backing by The Andantes.
One take remained unreleased until a 2001 Motown Christmas compilation and the other take was only released this week! I've mixed the 2 together as my original video with the full tracks was blocked
