Ally Brooke Hernandez, Camila Cabello, Dinah Jane Hansen, Lauren Jauregui and Normani Kordei Hamilton are being honored by Billboard's Women in Music as Group of the Year. During a candid interview with the outlet, the girls revealed some of the women they look up, which included none other than J.Lo — of course.
"Jennifer Lopez," Ally Brooke said, when asked to name the women she looks up to. "She opened so many doors for Latinas such as myself. Also, Adele." Do you agree?
The rest of the group also shared the names of the women that inspire them. "Taylor Swift," Camila exclaimed. "She is the embodiment of what it means to be a strong woman in the music industry." Dinah Jane chimed in with Lauryn Hill, stating she admires her "bravery and her strength. Hands down to the queen," while also adding Nicki Minaj to her list.
"I'm going to second Dinah — I'm all about Lauryn Hill," Lauren said. "Also, I love Lana Del Rey."
Normani went on to name one of our personal faves.
"Beyoncé. She started a movement within feminism, and I love that she wasn't afraid."
