Has there ever been a time where someone has asked you for advice, but the advice you gave them ends up doing more harm than good?

One time, my coworker (who had just been hired) asked me if I knew about other parking lots around campus that had more spaces cause the other ones were always full. So I tell her to go to the one I always go to and she's like okay I'll try it out. Turns out her car got keyed all over with profanity and drawings of dicks
