The Black Eyed Peas are reportedly set to have the UK's first ever million-selling download, with their single 'I Gotta Feeling'.
The song, which got to number one in August 2009, is expected to reach 1 million downloads by next week, according to PA.
Martin Talbot, managing director of the Official Charts Company, said: "Black Eyed Peas will forever be able to state that they scored the UK's first million-selling download and 'I Gotta Feeling' is now firmly established as one of the defining tunes of our time."
Singer will.i.am added: "Wow! Out of all the artists in the world? I had a feeling I was supposed to move to the UK."
The band have sold 3.3 million downloads in UK, more than any other group, according to the Official Charts Company.
Sex on Fire>I Gotta Feeling, it's a good party track but it's not even the Peas best song, it's not even the best song off that album, Meet Me Halfway is far superior
I just re-read, and it says 1 milllion. I thought it was 11 million.
Nobody has ever broken that? How odd.
There are only 60 million people and the huge sellers tend to be X Factor winners or charity singles which, for whatever reason, tend to get physical sales as well
