Oprah auctions revealing memoir

One of the biggest autobiography deals in recent memory is nearing its conclusion. Oprah Winfrey is headed toward an eight-figure payday to write her remarkable life story. Flatiron Books — a division of Macmillan — is the front-runner, I hear. Winfrey has co-written numerous books, including What I Know For Sure in 2014 for Macmillan, but this is considered to be the definitive memoir. It went out under the cone of silence a couple of weeks ago with publishers signing non disclosure agreements.
WME is handling the auction for Winfrey.
