I think it's fine, and have no problem with it.

But I sometimes think that people get the impression that my Dad and I are dating.
Only because he's always paying for everything (when we go out to restaurants, shopping etc.)
Especially at the car dealership the other week, and the sales assistant asked if I was going to be applying for a loan for the car and Dad turned around and said that he would pay in cash and he gave us a weird judgemental look.
Probably thought he was my sugar daddy.

I do admit that sometimes when I see an older guy/younger guy, I might pause and wonder if they're together or father/son, as usually the body language doesn't make it obvious.
