Last Week TLC's T-Boz, Ron Fair, and a army of writers and producers were cooking up some material for the group's upcoming album. After Twitter attacked the girl group for taking their fans money, the girls want you to know they are hard at work--and they're filming the entire process as well.

TLC has a huge group of writers & producers currently working on the new TLC album at writing camp, but who are they? Let’s have a quick rundown, shall we?

It's a business. that's their brand and they want to end out as TLC

I think it's great because a newer generation will see the biggest r&b female group of all time and hopefully serve us some socially aware yet catchy songs (water falls/unpretty)...

This will always notch them closer to spice girls which is a lot further away and the sales will create a bigger gap between them and destiny's child.

I hope more than anything they could get more hit songs than an album.

If they could manage a gold album but get a multiplatinum song or two it would be a pleasant miracle.

The Dallas Austin tracks are already done.

um, TLC is a BAND, not a business. This is the problem with kids today. The business sid eof music is left to the labels, not the artist. Stop being so commercial-oriented.

its disrespectful to keep using that title now that one of them is dead, and thats the reason why people refused to buy Girl Talk when it came out. You'd think they'd learn their lesson over a decade later.

I'm with slw84, TLC is a "brand". Starting over at their age and point in their careers would do more harm than good. If they produce good music this time and promote it properly, nothing else will matter.

To me removing her name would be more disrespectful, plus I don't get the left eye hype,it's not like she was the lead singer of the band, I believe that people bought the songs mainly because of the vocals of the leaf singer.I am of the opinion that the death of left eye had nothing to do with the decline of the group.

Lisa was the creative force behind the group even though she wasn't featured on the majority of songs. She came up with a lot of their key concepts. I just think the lack of her creative input, the lack of a solid label/team backing them led to the decline. I still love them to death and I'm so excited for this project.

Meh. Lisa was a major creative force in TLC. Everyone knew that. It isn't hard for them to move on without her. However, the circumstances didn't work out for them. When they tried to move on, T-Boz was hit with a brain tumor during the taping of R U the Girl, so everything pretty much stopped right after than.

They are WORKING on the album. The kickstarter campaign ended in March. They went on tour for 3 months, and are now recording. I don't get why people think it only takes a month to record an album.

Thank you. They are known as TLC. Removing it would actually be disrespectful because they feel as though Lisa's spirit is always with them.

People don't understand how this is entertainment but also a business. It took alot to get them those 3 letters and they are not going to become TC and start as a new group.


I hope they have some unreleased not even raps but something they can use as an interlude or outro that includes lisa
