Did social media change how you feel about yourself?
I watched an inTeresTing Youtube video (it was a ghey vlogger, i don't wanna talk about it) about this topic minutes ago and read some comments and I realized a lot of people feel this way. What about you? Have you been more self-aware since you started using social media (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram etc.)? Are you less confident now than you were before because of your usage of these networks? Let's discuss, girls.
It made me realise how much I like attention, but other than that I don't know.
I was 11 before I started using social media so I don't really know how it affected me since it's been a part of my life all through growing up as a person.
I stopped using social media 4 months ago and it's honestly changed my perspective on a lot of things. I'm more focused on myself, been hanging out with family and friends, working out religiously, etc.
I still have them (IG, Facebook, Twitter), but I do not post as much as I used to.
I tweet maybe once every 2 weeks, aside from this past Thursday (Thanksgiving day) I haven't updated my IG or Facebook.
This is honestly why I don't **** with most social media anymore. I've seen some old classmates of mine, etc tweet/post racist **** and stuff like that and it's just made me dislike a lot of people.
