Listening to music in an old car that doesn't have an aux hookup?

This. I do it from time to time when I'm in my dad's car because it doesn't have an AUX hookup, or when I'm talking on the phone (usually only with one ear in). I'm always aware of my surroundings though. Would you rather people use one hand to hold the phone or something even more dangerous? I don't see how it's any different than blasting your music with the windows rolled up, which a ton of people do regularly. If you're an attentive driver and you're aware of your surroundings, it's basically the same thing.
A good driver should always be relying on their eyes more than anything else, regardless of whether they have headphones in or speakers blasting or whatever. How do you guys think deaf people like Nyle get around?
