The rivalry between Chris and James was not cute. Dannii was a terrible mentor, her song choices were always wrong. Overall I thought it was just a pretty so-so panel, not the best, but not the worst. I think the talent this year was at an all time high so that may have helped a bit.
Kesha would be an interesting choice, Australia's definitely one of her main markets and it would be good exposure until she's able to release music. But she wasn't the best judge on Rising Star. She has been involved with X Factor Aus before (she was Nat Bass' home visit guest mentor one year and has performed a few times) so her inclusion to the panel wouldn't be entirely shocking.

Maybe Jess Mauboy then? She's female, relevant and when she was with Dannii last year her feedback was pretty good.
