That's not to say some YouTubers don't deserve the hate they get, though. Especially the ones that try to make music when they clearly have no musical talent, or the ones encouraging their fans to buy their "books", "products", "clothes", etc. in like, every video.

I do not see a problem with this. If people want to make music for fun, I don't see why that's a bad thing. It's not like they'll ever have anyone outside of their viewer base buy it unless it's a really good song, and it definitely won't be played on the radio or anything...so they're literally not hurting anyone.
I also don't see the problem with people wanting to sell merch...I mean, the promo can be annoying, but it's usually at the beginning or end of a video, so you can skip it.
