Winfrey was initially indicted on 30 counts stemming from the April shooting, but as per the deal, he only pleaded guilty to six gang-related charges, TMZ reports. The shooting occurred just months after Lil Wayne's very public beef with Cash Money, his longtime label, an acrimonious split that resulted in Wayne suing the label for $51 million in January. Jimmy Carlton Winfrey, 25, pleaded guilty on Friday to shooting at two of Wayne's tour buses while they traveled on Interstate 295 in April. Staley says the remaining 10 years will be served as probation, obviously provided he doesn't do anything stupid. "Mr. Winfrey made a verbal threat to Mr. Carter and then left in his white Camaro", the district attorney's office said in a statement.
