By group I mean as in the following: black people being racist to other black people, gay people being homophobic to other gay people. My friend said that you can't be and I was trying to educate ha on why you can be. He got mad and didn't wanna talk about it anymore so now I'm making this thread mostly to vent. So girls, what's the answer?

Yep and it happens all the time sadly. Hell there's a lot of people here who have internalized issues with whatever minority group they're in.

You're right. I just used discriminatory as an umbrella term because I don't know what else I can use to describe homophobia, racism, etc all in one. If somebody points one out to me I'll definitely edit the title.

i see lots of gays in here who complain about homophobia from straights but then use 'you bottom f** asses" in arguments. also, tf is a bottom?

yeah, and i don't even see how that's questionable :I like, the reason people say black people can't be racist towards white people is because white people have power over them by being white, but a black person doesn't have power over another black person by being black, so i have no idea where that logic comes from.

but actually i personally think racism is more complicated than that, but even by their own definition they're wrong

You can be, but that doesn't make it any less idiotic. I'm extra discriminatory towards white suburban people who think all asians are from China and all black people just arrived from any of the "continents in Africa", but that seems deserved rather than rude.
