Hollywood is dying, while game industry is growing like a rocket?

Most of Hollywood films except Spectre generated poor gross at box office last week. While Fallout 4 generated $750 million by its first day, Halo 5 generated $400 million by its first week

And I don't agree. The game industry is definitely not looking as good as it was last gen because Wii U is not doing as well as PS3 or X360. PS4 can only do so much. Also some titles like Halo 5 and a lot of Wii juggernauts before like Just Dance, WiiFit etc are also struggling.

Companies like Nintendo are still making billions though (some companies, like Sony, aren't this lucky though).

Also the DVD and Bluray sales also are added anyway.

Games just don't have that maybe microtransactions but those are not really favored by most gamers.

Lol no. Nintendo aren't making billions anymore and Sony are in an upward trends thanks to the PS4 and the ps+ subscriptions.

And I'd rather pay $49.99 for a game than $13 for a movie I probably won't remember

Phone apps are owned by video game companies.

Sony is struggling. It's only section that is doing well at the moment is the gaming side but that's after the PS3 era generated a ton of loss for them.
