What are some stupid things you got a detention for?

One time we were all in class and were selected to each play a music video, and I picked/played California Gurls.

When it got to the following part of the music video, my teacher stopped the video and had a huge rant at me at how disgusting Katy Perry is and how stupid I am for playing the video + she gave me a detention for it :


I was only like 11 or 12, by the way.

Perched cause I've never been in detention.

Me and my brother were put in the same tutor group. We threw chairs at each other and everything lol.

From year 10 I just never bothered attending

I got detention for leaving during lunch and never coming back. I've also got detention for not turning in homework.

mostly homework or uniform misdemeanors, or just being overly chatty in class

I only got it once and it was for hiding my N-Gage beneath my desk to play Tomb Raider. My pre-calc professor caught me redhanded and I was like, "This is just a fancy calculator." And he looked at the screen to see Lara Croft and ha pointy boobs standing on a pyramid or some **** and gave me detention

In my last year of highschool they started this rule where if you were late a teacher would write your name down and you'd have a detention after school. And child I was late every morning.

One time I was in German class and me and my friend decided to make a pyramid made of German textbooks. We were sat at the back of the class and we made it pretty big until the teacher clocked us. She came up to me and whispered "you can make all the pyramids you like at lunchtime". I thought she was joking but then when I tried to leave the class she literally went all Tyra Banks on me and screamed "DON'T YOU DARE LEAVE THIS CLASSROOM".

I sat back down and she went out of the classroom for like a minute. When she came back in, she gave me a bunch of books and said make some pyramids then. She said it sarcastically as in she wanted me to feel stupid but I built like 3/4 of them and was pretty proud!

It was nothing serious. Like being late to class or some ****.

I got caught skipping school. It was only once of the many other times that's why I was so shocked that I was caught

Wearing a snuggie on pajama day. Since it dragged on the floor, it was a "safety hazard".

I never really got detention it was more of getting suspended for stupid things like smoking, drinking, running away from a teacher and one time i almost, ALMOST may have pushed someone down the stairs
