As most of you are now aware, we received an unconfirmed bomb threat affecting the Science Center, as well as Sever, Emerson and Thayer Halls on the Cambridge campus. The buildings have been evacuated and law enforcement officials are on scene. Entry to the Yard is restricted. We will provide updates as soon as we have additional information. Schools get bomb threats a lot. My school got a bunch and we always had to evacuate and it was just some prankster every time Hope that's the case here.

Yeah, to be honest I'm not worried, this is such a regular thing.
I remember several years ago we were given a shelter-in-place order (I go to high school in Cambridge) because a Korean guy phoned in a bomb threat to Harvard. The guy was doing it to try to get out of his finals. He ended up getting expelled and jailed.
Not coincidentally, midterms are this week. I'm 100% positive it's a student trying to get out of midterms.
