Women, of course, were judged to be more attractive when smiling.

They did not test homosexual men and women, so no way to know what gay men or lesbians find more attractive.

Personally I'm pretty brooding/serious male by appearance, which I find repels people (men and women) off pretty equally.

We are addicted to bubbly, gushy, kind of airheaded extroverted personalities the most at this point in history it seems, as opposed to the "strong, silent" type.

I find mysterious/quiet people the most intriguing. I think I give that vibe off myself although I do frequently receive compliments on my smile. I think what turns people off from me is that my face tends to give away my emotions a bit too much and, considering most people annoy me, I tend to look fairly smug/"I would rather be anywhere but here"
