I agree, I really, really can't see Janet going down that Mariah route (no offence) I think she was just genuinely happy for the great response. She's done a lot of performances in the past where people really didn't pay much attention or didn't really praise her for whatever reason. But the AI performance - everyone, across the board, was happy to see her back on form.
