Discussion: Did you like Spectre?

So I saw Spectre last Sunday and I must say this is the first bond movie I've ever seen so idk if my point is misguided but I really did not enjoy the movie. It was very dull, the plot was very dumb and by the end I really lost interest in all of the characters. It just dragged on and on and even the actions sequences were boring imo. I can't believe they spent $300 mil on such a bad movie imo.

What was your opinion on Spectre?

I enjoyed it but I wasn't amazed or anything.
It felt too "generic".
I thought bond films were supposed to be action movies with a...twist? turned out to be just like 99% of action films... only presented in a "sleeker" fashion.

It was a bad film. Bad story, waste of a two time Oscar winner and a sleep inducing second half. Laughable "romance" too.

I noticed is as well. It seemed very cliche with all of the random location changes and predictable romance and stuff. Imo Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation really was everything this movie tried to be but failed.

It was very predictable and dumb. If it weren't for zaddy Danial Craig I probably would've walked out and snuck into another movie. Kingsman:The Secret Service remains the superior spy-action movie

I haven't seen it, but the reviews I've read were all trashing it as uninspired and watered down.

I like it better than Skyfall but just by a little and that's probably because I watched it so many times. This one reminded me of Casino Royal which I like much better than those two. I think they could have done a better job with this.

I see they didn't fix the bad script that was going around last year.

I wouldn't recommend this film...unless you are looking to spend 2 and a half hours outside of your house/school etc...then it makes for a nice evening out I suppose but ya all in all I'd give it a passing grade of 5.5/10.
