Hi everyone,

So long story short, we were choosing where we were looking to go for our Residential with our Travel and Tourism class and I really want to cry right now I was the only one who voted for going to Rome, but I was really upset about this as I have wanted to go to Italy for ages now and I thought everyone was looking to go to Rome, but surprise no-one wanted to go, they all wanted to go to the Greek Islands or Barcelona, places which I don't want to go to, there is supposed to be an educational aspect to this Residential, but the rest just want to go for sun and sand, I know that Barcelona is educational and all, but I wanted to obtain my personal objectives such as learning some Italian or trying proper Italian cuisine and Italian coffee, going to the Vatican or the Colosseum, even trying to buy more Italian artists music, I know I sound like a jealous person and I'm thinking about only myself and not anyone else, but I'm starting to think everyone doesn't care about this Residential, I have thoroughly researched my destination and I know what Rome offers, most of my classmates haven't even finished their chosen itineraries, I have. Should I talk to my tutor about this? The three/four chosen destinations are: Greek Islands, Barcelona, Nice and Malta.

Well seems to me majority rules. Talk to your tutor about it but unless you convince your mates to change their mind I doubt you'd get anywhere you wanna go

If you don't go whenever you're supposed to you can always go later in life.

Gurl all of those places would be so absolutely incredible, all of those places have SO much to offer. Rome is obviously great but Barcelona and the Greek Islands, hello!

Don't forget the Italian hotties. Add them to your To-Do list.

You could speak to your tutor, yes. But I wouldn't. If the majority of the class have voted for a said destination, then that's final. I know you have prepared for Rome, but there will always be other chances to visit. You have the rest of your life.

Greece and Rome are great. Both are famous for its archaelogical & historical sites. I think you can subtitute Rome with Greece for now.
