Video Games: Xbox One Backwards Compatible | Play 360 games on Xbox One!

Its an exciting week for Xbox fans as Microsoft releases the new UI Update for Xbox One, and in addition, begins the Xbox One backward compatibility feature they announced at E3. Microsoft has confirmed 104 games available starting today, with over 20 more each month from here on out. Here are key features of Xbox One backwards compatibility:

- Requires no fee, simply insert your 360 disc to begin game install. (Digital Xbox 360 purchases will show up automatically on your Xbox One)

- Play multiplayer between Xbox One players and Xbox 360 players.

- Enjoy the advanced features of your Xbox One like Game DVR, Screenshots and Windows 10 streaming.

- Keep your game saves, game add-ons, achievements, and Gamerscore.

- This is an Xbox One exclusive, no other next-gen console offers this feature. True backwards compatibility.

It's been said before that Sony can't actually do the same. It requires emulating the Cell microprocessor which is extremely difficult (if not impossible) without including said tech in the 4. Which increases the overhead cost. Making the 4 more expensive (which is one reason why the 3 sold for so high initially). The most they can do is making the game available via Playstation Now (whether they'll do PS2 and PS1 games BC is another story).

Sony won't do it because they're already selling the 4 at a loss.

Also, Sony already invested into that horrible streaming service PlayStation Now. They want you to pay/rent older games in order to play them.
