What was your life like at the time you joined ATRL?
How have you changed since then? When I joined I was a junior in high school and I still told myself I was straight. I had never kissed anyone and had only been on a few dates with girls.
Now I've just finished my first year of college (graduated early bitchiz) and have been living with my 3rd boyfriend for over months
It's only been a little less than 2 years but damn have things changed.
Considering i've been on this site for less than 4 months, pretty much the same. I post on an extra forum than I did before. Doesn't affect my free time too much.
Being on ATRL has influenced me to have opinions (both positive and negative) about dumb artists I would've never paid attention to otherwise. Ive grown to actually loathe pop stans and pop stan culture yet I remain here because ive become about as addicted to checking this forum as any other form of social media (instagram, tumblr, etc). Life before it I was much more involved in music beyond mainstream pop (and yes mainstream includes Lana Del Rey, Grimes, FKA Twigs, and various other artists that many of you don't consider mainstream because they barely skim the barrier to alternative). I want off this hamster wheel that I have imprisoned myself in. Where is my brain?
I've came and Go...I was a better person before ATRL then I left for 2 years (was on now and then but never active and recently came back) but people still don't forget the pass and that really bugs me...but honestly I think i become a better person during that break.
