Excuse me if this is in the wrong section, it's been forever since I've posted a thread so feel free to move it.
After years of not watching horror films because I'd be scared, I've finally gotten into them.
Some have been absolutely terrible and not scary at all (The Conjuring, Cujo, Nightmare on Elm Street) and some of them have been amazing (The Shining, Halloween.) Now I'm obsessed with being scared and I really want to catch up on what I've been missing out on. What are your favorite thrillers/horror films?
And what are your opinions on these that I'm thinking about watching?:
Goodnight Mommy
The Visit (just because it looks funny)
The Cabin in the Woods
Unfriended
Saw
It Follows is one of the best horror movies of all time. The Babadook is also incredible and very psychological, and The Strangers has a very chilling and uncomfortable tone.
Requiem for a Dream is a light psychological thriller, more of a drama, but it's a film you shouldn't die without having seen.
High Tension
Audition
I Saw the Devil
Perfect Blue
Confession
Three Extremes
Tesis
Frontier(s)
Black Swan
Fight Club
Eden Lake
Martyrs
Mulholland Dr.
Twin Peaks:the movie
Pan's Labyrinth
The Shining
Rosemary's Baby
watch these in order and try not to go insane
