Christina & Carrie NOT appearing at Daytona Music Festival

A publicist for pop music star Christina Aguilera said Monday she will not be appearing at the American Music Festival, a music event scheduled June 25-27 and Sept. 3-5 at the Bandshell. Also, a publicist for Carrie Underwood said the pop-country star is not scheduled to perform at the festival.
Nicole Perez-Krueger, one of Aguilera's publicists, said in an e-mail that the singer "was never scheduled to appear in Daytona June 25-27, as she has been confirmed to do press for her film in Cancun for over four months."
At Friday's press conference, Bornia announced that Aguilera was scheduled to perform in June, but that she and the entire roster of artists could "flip-flop" between the two weekends.
Melissa Ruderman, another Aguilera publicist, said in an e-mail, "All of it is false. She is not performing at Daytona."
It's sad yet predictable they would use legend's name for their promotional gain.
