To the other console stan out there, let me tell you something. If you think Microsoft is losing on the Xbox One... remember that the $3B a year royalty they get for every Android phone sold pays for the operating income of Xbox every year. So they're not bothered.
As well, this quarter, Microsoft made $5B in profits.
Microsoft's main income is from enterprise and cloud services, and 120 million already upgraded to Windows 10
for free
Microsoft stock is at a 15-year high.
While the other.. is well.. umm..
congratulations on the success of their amazing 4th generation console, it's their only lifeline. They do need the success, after all the failures and disappointments, and the downsizing.
Even Queen Nintendo has $65B in cash, that they can lose money for 25 years and still have leftover.
