I came across this gay sorority house and it's called BETA MU SOCIETY - a bi men fraternity - a secret society for bi and gay men. Anyways, I was wondering is it a scam and have you been in gay frats or anything similar ? Share your experience here.

Sounds more like a trap. It is probably full of ugly and fat gays waiting to snatch up a cute oblivious bi gay guy. I will be careful if I were you.

I'm in one and I'm gay. I'm the only one that is though. Generally the guys don't really care and we focus on other things than the sexuality of our members. And we have guys from all realms. Lax, soccer, student leaders, baseball, basketball, &etc.
Granted my school is a little different but still.

Yeah I can't find anything about whatever that one is.
Anyway, gay fraternities are a thing, but to be perfectly honest they're necessarily not going to attract the type of men that you would want to be in a fraternity with. Regular fraternities often have non-discrimination policies these days, and those that don't tend to be comprised of normal human beings anyway and won't have an issue with a gay or bi man rushing. The last two student body presidents of my university were gay; one of them, last year's, was in the most stereotypical and "popular" fraternity we have.
You can rush, go to their particular house or meeting place (if they don't have a house) and see what they're like, and judge from there. But yes, they're a thing.

I don't know about that specific Greek organization but there is a fraternity for gay, bisexual and progressive men. It's called Delta Lambda Phi. It has about 30+ chapters across the US and Canada. I am in it and it has been a incredible experience for me.
There is also Gamma Rho Lambda, a sorority for lesbian women. Generally speaking, though, you will find a lot of gay people in general social fraternities that aren't specifically catered to LGBTQ+ people. Your sexuality is not as big a deal in these places as much as you think it would.
Both the Greek organizations I just mentioned are legitimate.

It depends, what type do you want?
^
If for some reason you only want to have fraternity brothers who are in the LGBTQ+ spectrum, it's a fine experience, but not everyone wants that.

Since I'm in a gay fraternity, I'm going to let you know that a majority of our men aren't the conventionally attractive gay man with chisled muscles and perfect face that the gay media likes to push. Those type of men have it easier fitting into non-gay fraternities than "average" gay men have.
Either way, fraternities having all hot guys is a stereotype because I've interacted with a lot of straight frat men and a lot of them aren't model-looking either.
If you're joining a fraternity solely to get some, it's not worth the time and money, tbh.

OK so I know there is a gay fraternity nationally, but my campus doesn't have one. All fraternities have non-discrimination clauses in their constitutions/bylaws, mine included. I'm not the only gay member of my chapter, and each of the 13 fraternities on my campus has at least one gay member. Being in a fraternity is for the brotherhood experience and not to get laid lol. And like the poster above me said, not everyone is a model and has chiseled bodies. The sad thing tho is for girls because I know like (mostly) everyone on campus and I dont know a single lesbian in any of the sororities.

its where fraternity men live. fraternities are groups in college that you need to pledge to join and tend to be selective in who they let join. there are secret rituals that are for members only, and on college campuses fraternities have the stereotype of always throwing parties. While that in most cases is true, most fraternities are also more active than the average college student in philanthropy, community service, networking, and academics.
