Do you think atheists can celebrate Xmas? I told my friend I was planning my Christmas list today and she said "Aren't you an atheist?" I know a lot of people who are celebrate Christmas for the aspect of presents, family, and food but it does make sense why people are confused at atheists celebrating Christmas. Well, what do you think?
For me, Christmas isn't about Jesus. It's about appreciating your family members, friends, and giving presents and love to them and that's what its become to most people who celebrate it

Ikr. That's what Christmas is about to me. But for the religious folks, Jesus is an added bonus!
I think people who celebrate Christmas because they're religious should spend the holiday working at a soup kitchen or something. It's what Jesus would've done.
As for me, I'll indulge in my consumerist ways. Thanks.
of course. it's a celebratory event. Do you have to believe in witches and ghouls to celebrate Halloween?
Those saying "choose a side" um you do realize you already use the dates of the Christian calendar? 2015 AD. If you can use the rest of the Christian days of the year you can use this one too but seethe a bit
i have Hindu and Muslim family members that decorate for Christmas. And I'm an atheist and I love Christmas. Christmas is more of a commercialized holiday now anyways. It's better this way.
Well, my athiest aunt tells her children santa claus isnt real and christmas is just a corporate holiday promoted to infantalize the general population
