Are you shocked at Ariana's Focus prediction sales?
I mean how does this even happen I'm so upset, How do one get over 400k a little over a year ago and now has a prediction of 100k. Her last era had 5 hits, back to back to back, i even bought the damn focus song, bc I love her so much, I'm so upset guys!

and how will ariana recover from this and how?
1. Sales were stronger in April/May of 2014
2. She hasn't really taken a break since debuting, ppl may be tired idk
3. Some people may still be pressed over the Donut debacle
4. She's going against heavyweights like Adele, Bieber, Drake & the Weeknd this time.
I am. Usually ATRL does the most when an ATRL underperforms but 100k for Ariana's lead single is truly awful. Obviously the song wasn't going to sell 400k like Problem did but that large of a drop after less than two years is just insane. And the quality of the song really isn't an excuse since I thought her fanbase would be enough for a big opening week regardless. There's really no excuse for this...the sales are just plain bad.

All this is invalid because the song is pure ****, sorry but this is not like artpop where Lady Gaga released a great song and people did not buy it, Ariana released a ****** generic song and she should be happy she is getting 100k.

All of this+the chorus is polarizing i think she might be able to do better with the second single when the charts aren't as crowded
Can you tell me that after a month you will be happy listening to this?
This is NOT what Ariana was ment for, they took the most talented singer that came out in the last years and turned her into this generic pop mess, you should not be supporting this unless you want her to be wasting her talent like this.
Sorry if I sound mad, it just really bothers me that we went from the way, just a little bit of your heart to this.
I just don't get this release from her. No one was really anticipating new Ariana music besides her core fanbase, in my opinion. If she wanted to build up hype, she should have disappeared from the public eye for a little while and make us miss her, but she did the exact opposite. If she insisted on releasing now, it should have been something extraordinary – like Problem was when it first came out. Focus is not only just another safe pop song on it's own, it's a rehash of an old Ariana song. Better luck next time, sis.
