For all the '2 hours late' complainers and those attending future shows this tour! Plan accordingly!
MADONNA CONCERT GUIDE
1) read your ticket stub
2) does it read, "Opening Act!"
3) allow a half hour after doors open as concert venues give people a half hour block usually to find parking and your seats.
4) if it says "Opening Act;" allow at least an hour for the opening performance. If you google on Wikipedia; their tour diagram indicates who your Opening Act will be.
5) there will be a set breakdown for the opening act.
6) realize the timing is not just about MADONNA arriving on stage. She has dancers who will be on stage beforehand. This show will be a big production full of elaborate outfits, handled by stagehands, and people behind the scenes.
7) do not whine or complain when you think she's 2 hours late! You were already notified on your ticket stub that there will be an opening act. If you are worried about your sleep, please plan accordingly: 1) Get plenty of sleep the night before. 2) maybe stock up on 5 Hour Energy shots the next day. 3) or wait till the f*cking DVD!
8) enjoy your show! ****on this tour, MADONNA has selected DJ's to be her Opening Act for this tour (with the exception of Amy Schumer in NY). In the concert world; the term "Opening Act" which is written on the ticket stub is to inform you there will be a performance prior to MADONNA. Keep in mind, there will be a breakdown and final headlining act set up in between. And allow a half hour after the doors open.

The purpose is to make sense to the people who are bashing and complaining at the concerts and online. They expect MADONNA to start at 8pm. And write stuff online complaining that 'MADONNA is 2 hours late.' If you Google search MADONNA 2 Hours Late... And even type in on FACEBOOK search; people are trying to throw shade at our queen. When, in reality, she is not late at all. People don't realize the DJ ON STAGE IS HER opening act. And don't read it on the ticket stub. They complain because ticket says 8pm. But ignore the 'Opening Act' words on the ticket.
The complainers started on the MDNA tour in 2012. When it was clear that shortly after the doors opened, there would be a Special Guest (MARTIN SOLVEIG) on that particular tour. In Denver, an article appeared and seemed to start this new bashing trend. So I name these people the '2 Hours Late' complainers. Look on FB, this tour, it's everywhere. And at the concert, row behind me were asking "Where's MADONNA while the lights are off and the DJ is on stage?' They start up with stuff, 'cmon MADONNA! Where is she? I work tomorrow.' And I heard a couple say, 'maybe she tripped again!' 'MADONNA is always late.' It was barely 9:15 pm. Doors had only opened an hour before. While the opening act is performing. They were yelling stuff. then on FB, it's everywhere at every show. It's a new trend of MADONNA bashing.
On FACEBOOK, when you ask about the Opening Act, their response is, "Wha?" "Who?" "no excuses, she's late!" Concert I was at both in 2012 and on Oct 27 this year; she made it on stage within a half hour after they cleared the Opening Act's equipment on stage. Truth is, not late at all.
