yeah the government would give you special allowances and money if you had one child, but if you had another you had to pay it all back and pay extra taxes - forced abortions was never a government policy but abortions were common to avoid the paying back the money

I hear its because they aborted female fetuses so much that there is a male bachelor crisis since males outnumber females by a pretty big amount.

Anyway China has a huge population. Idk what they will do for population control because it can't be good for the country to have so many more people but its good for the families not to be cornered into an abortion or paying extra

They are so anti-women that girls dont count and they have the advantage to have kids until its a boy. So sad
