Just thinking and looking back at my Psychology notes from class and realizing how far many of us have strayed from who we truly were. When thinking about it, everything we necessarily say and do becomes apart of us. Do you think it's possible to change? Also, where do you see yourself going in life? I would then like to think about the factors of our Pop music (I'm using POP as the shortening of POPULAR music -- so whatever you think is popular, or is popular to you), and how has that affected you. Do these celebrities really have a hold or control over who we as people are?

At least in my case my mother used to tell me than in the 80's having internet was like the most modern thing in the world, the same with cell phones. Now the computer i just had in 2005 is now obsolete cuz there are always better and newer things , i can't imagine teenagers in japan , it must be something crazy

In my opinion there really hasn't been a change. Besides the autotune and the more electronic sound merging with pop, it really hasn't changed.

Society has been evolving with technology and its teaching the younger generation that technology can do majority of the work for you. It's not the best decision for the younger generation.

I have changed along with technology, like I depend on it. It's not something I'm proud of but I just love the newer technologies that come up.

my friends always told me that music, sports and food is a new colonization in this world. many years ago country who has power can attack third world country directly, comes there conquer them, and took as many as possible the beneficial for it such as allspice etc, but nowadays they cant do the same, so they manage to spread their culture, hope many people in the world will follow their culture, in the end, they [ 3rd world country ] will buy their product and become adictive to it lol..

- No not really, i might say gaga but i don't consider a noticeable shift , it can be probably because in my late 90's and 00's perpective i can't judge the 10's musical perspective cuz it was the time i heard the most memorable music of my life and i defend it until the death ( metaphorically speaking )

- IDK , at least we are starting to be aware of the global warming, hope it's not too late

- I became more insecure with myself, but at least i'm doing very well on my studies , i'd like to travel , live alone or at least live in a very relaxing place

There is a LOT of change from 2004-now, esp. on Pop, HAC, and AC radio. Rock Radio stayed mostly the same. For me, I've been leaning increasingly to Rock/Alt/Indie over the last 6+ years. Pop radio has declined sharply during that time, and now Hot AC is becoming more and more pop-lite.

Society has been evolving with technology and it's teaching the younger generation that technology can do majority of the work for you. It's not the best decision for the younger generation.

I have changed along with technology (albeit a little late), to the point I depend on it. It's not something I'm proud of but I just love the newer technologies that come up.

I think there has been some significant change since 2004, I mean now pop music has a little more domination and it's expressed more freely as we have artists like GaGa and Adam Lambert pushing boundaries and going outside the box.

I think there's a definite change here too. Society is now more open as to 5 years ago. I agree with Matty, all of the technology we have nowadays is making our generation a bit lazier (I believe). We are becoming more dependent on it.

Looking back at 2005 when I first moved to Canada from the Middle East, I was the little shy boy. But now, I feel like I'm more aware of things around me, I'm more experienced. I think (even though I'd like to believe its not true) I have became less mannered because of some bad choices of friends. This also brought my average down, but I'm working on it now. In few years, I would love to make my parents proud and make it in dentistry
