Have you ever had youtube commentators practically living in one of your videos?

It's so annoying, I have one video where some women talks every single day with what seems to be her friends about the most trivial things like "hey how was your day today?" and like not even related at all with the video, then I have another one that russians or eastern europeans decided to live in and they talk and talk in their language which I don't understand, and lastly I have this old man that commented on one of my videos and each time someone likes his post he comments: "Thank you xxxxxx for being a part of my post."

These notifications are driving me crazy.

you should be happy that they go back to your video and give you more streaming revenue even if all they do is talk to their friends.

just block them.

My videos are all copyrighted music videos/performances, I don't monetize them, I earn nothing from youtube I do it as a hobby

Yes, I uploaded a BTR episode promo back in 2012 and to this day I still get comments from people thinking it's some kind of poll or something.

Everyone started spamming the comments section with "I heart XXXXXX" whoever the two lovers were and "like this if you prefer XXXX" then there were stans of the show getting into arguments and ****. I don't use that YT luckily.
