Colleges are already accepting a shitload of stellar Asian students. They can't accept all of the Asian students that would still be considered an above average students (3.8+UW GPA; 2100+ SAT; 32+ ACT) because they need to even out the diversity.

I feel like that would mainly happen to Chinese and to a lesser extent Indians since they also send so many international students to the US. You can basically tell what kind of Asian someone is just by reading their name most of the time.

Affirmative action becomes ridiculous when it's actually LIMITING a minority. A black student with a 1280 on the SAT could beat an Asian with a 1600 for the same spot in an elite school.
