First off, this quote is shade toward Xtina since it implies that she's playing catch-up, hopefully advancing to keep-up......read, "she's behind".

secondly, this is Xtina's interview so Gaga should not be recieving shameless bows from "OUT"... and her name shouldn't OWN the entire third page, which is the last page. the fact that she owns 1/3 of x-tina's interview for ANY reason is rather unfortunate.

No it means that Aguilera is AHEAD. To copy GaGa she has to slow down and be not as good as she could be. The whole point of the article is to portray Aguilera as some artistically superior legendary vocalist, and GaGa as a vapid pop princess. They lament the fact she is trying to copy GaGa because they think Aguilera is lowering herself to do so.

Of course I don't agree, but that's what the article is saying.

Superior legendary vocalist.....yes. Artistically?? no.

I'm getting tired of these pot calling the kettle black articles and interviews. Whatever Christina wants to record, then let her do it and be done with. I think Christina needs to stop talking about Lady GaGa if she's sick of the comparisons because I interpret it as being petty and desperate. And I think Lady GaGa stans need to stop putting Christina under the microscope, trying as hard as they can to find something she's "copied".

This kind of things are getting soo old now..

I agree, but if they wouldn't ask questions about Gaga, Christina wouldn't even be talking about her. She gave her opinion, and it's true. Gaga's a newcomer. But that doesn't take her talent and her success away. Christina's been there, done that.

And "she's funny to look at"... It's kinda true, but that's one of the things why people like Gaga. And I've read somewhere that Christina put Gaga's "Bad Romance" video in a list of her favorite videos. So I assume she doesn't have a problem with her looks.

My problem with it is that she keeps coming back to it, and maybe I'm not interpreting it correctly, but Christina's throwing small amounts of subtle shade to a woman who doesn't speak ill of her. I see no reason to blame Lady GaGa herself for anything. This is a stan war. I see crazy stans going back and forth about Christina being a legend of Lady GaGa style being ripped off by Christina. I don't see how it's fair to either one of them.
