Now that Taylor has made it a point to be more pop influenced and ADELE has once again resurfaced to claim the throne with her stripped sound, will the GP receive Taylor differently?

Probably not as much of a shift for Taylor as it was for Gaga, but I could see something similar happening. Definitely.
